SEATTLE MOVES FORWARD w/o HASSELBECK!

Tarvaris Jackson’s undistinguished five years in Minnesota suggest that the new Seahawks QB is a temp in the pursuit of a replacement for Matt Hasselbeck.

When the offensive line starts two rookies, a second-year left tackle and a third-year center (combined 27 NFL starts),  and a humble corps of receivers, experience and leadership at QB would seem to be mandatory to survive 2011.

Jackson has a big arm as well as the legs to run away from harm, but he’s started 20 games in five years in Minnesota (10-10 record) to minimal swoonery that he is the next Donovan McNabb.

It would be easier for a Seahawks fan to talk himself or herself into believing in Jackson if the people who signed him Tuesday weren’t the same ones who were convinced a year ago that Charlie Whitehurst was capable of beating out Hasselbeck…(as stated by Art Thiel of Sportspressnw.com)

So tomorrow is the big day! Seattle Seahawks retire number 8…With day 2 into the season, are we really prepared to enter practice, and even the 2011 season w/o Hasselbeck? Sure, he’ll be 36 this September, a few bones broken, more muscles torn and spirit damaged by not securing a ring, but starting a quarterback who’s only lead 20 games, is that a good idea?

We’ll soon find out!!! All I know is that we need a WIN around here!!! So, bring it home fellas by any means necessary!!!

BASKETBALL WIVES’ MEEKA FILES LAWSUIT ON CO-STAR TAMI!!!

It's about to GO DOWN!!!

As the rest of the cast of Basketball Wives sit around waiting for something to pop off, Tami Roman and Meeka Claxton got into a fight during a recent taping of the show, which aired on VH1 7/26/11.

Again she said -vs- she said, escalated into a fight when Tami punched Meeka in the face. Of course the security team moved quickly to stop the brawl before they were able to really injure each another. It’s simply embarrassing. But, I bet the media frenzy will make sure this happens again!

Meeka reportedly filed a lawsuit on her co-star for assaulting her. We shall see how that unfolds!

Was Tami REALLY in danger??? Did she REALLY feel threatened? #WHATEVER

KERI HILSON PISSES OFF AMY WINEHOUSE FANS w/ TWITTER PIC!

Granted, we all make bad decisions…If R&B songstress Keri Hilson could take back her twitpics, I’m sure she would. The singer explains in her follow-up tweets that she meant no harm by the footage, it was done out of respect, however she understands how Amy Winehouse’s fans can take it as a total slap in the face in the wake of the 27 year old’s tragic death.

"I Always Fall for Your Type"...

About 40 minutes north of Seattle, The Tulalip Amphitheater, in Tulalip, WA will never be the same. I mean it was as if Jamie Foxx and his crew, came to Washington, Friday, July 22nd, 2011 and lifted the sun themselves! So, much energy in the air that his magnetic performance, shocked those it touched. His voice so rich and powerful, it could be heard from any lane northbound on I5.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen such a cohesive unit and believe me it showed throughout the amazing set. Filled with comedy by both Jamie Foxx and Comedian Speedy of Speedy’s Comedy Corner, the show was inclusive of wit, and of course

Lonnie Bereal leaving it all on the stage...

vocals that he exercised like strumming a violin. The Foxx Tour highlighted other incredible talents in the band, “Young Marques” (Marques Anthony) Jamie called him, and Lonnie Bereal, a triple threat, songwriter, producer and vocalist.

The trilogy blew up the stage accompanying Jamie on some of his huge hits,  “Unpredictable”, “Just Like Me”, “Fall For Your Type” and “Blame It”.
